Michaels did not immediately respond to a request for comment. Michaels on Kirkwood Highway near Kohl’s in Milltown is expected to open early next year, according to company spokeswoman Anjanette Coplin. Here is the latest on a few openings along the road. The A.C. Moore is now one of two empty buildings in the strip center, joining the long-vacant Just Cabinets. Moore building in the Kirkwood Highway Shopping Center was nearly empty Sunday morning. A handful of would-be customers peeked through the glass doors to catch a glimpse of the barren shelves inside.

Then, the Marsh Road location which included a Big Fish seafood market suddenly closed its doors in late August after about five months of operation. Found nice tiny lidded ramekins on an end cap display once. If you like making crafts this is the place to go. They have seasonal products, kids crafts, candles, and a big variety of other stuff. Sometimes the checkout lanes can be pretty long. They need to have more cashiers on the register.
